皆様お待たせしました。東京を中心に日本でも『SHOES UP』のデリバリーが遂に始まりました。
毎号ごとに異なる1つの大きなテーマを掲げ、それに関連する人物やスニーカー、ファッション、アート、ミュージック、フードなどのカルチャーを独自の視点で切り取り構成しているフランス発のカルチャーマガジン『SHOES UP』。メインのキーワードに沿って特集ページの多くが連結して展開する形態で稀に見る少し変わったスタイルが特徴。
日本ではなかなか目にする事が少ないヨーロッパだけで流通するスニーカー写真を多く掲載した最新号『#25/ELLES特集』では、フランスの女性タトゥーイスト"ローラ・サタナ"へのロングインタビューに始まり、化粧品Ｍ.A.C、NYのアーティスト KAWS、フランスのFAFIなどとコラボレーションなどを発表し、ハイブランドからストリートまでの幅広い層から支持さ れているニューヨークのレディースブランド『married to the MOB』の デザイナー"LEAH MCSWEENEY"をフィーチャー。日本からは女の子の写真を撮り続け『エロポップ』という新しいジャンルを確立した写真家/編集者"米原康正"が最新作とともに、自身の作品製作に関わる心境や現在の社会システムへの問題点などをシリアスに語っていたりと『女性』と言うメインテーマを様々な角度から切り取った濃ゆいコンテンツが満載です。
2010年春、『SHOES UP JAPAN』プロジェクトが始動します。

I’m happy to announce that my new mix CD “LA” is finally going to be released NEXT MONDAY (3/8)!!!!! The other day I actually have been approached by KICKS LAB, a sickass sneaker store in Harajuku to do an instore DJ event!! So feel free to come by after work, or for those working for themselves… take a break and come support your fam!
